Maseratti have announced that they finally will launch their new sports car,
Maseratti Grand Cabrio. Some of the parts are really handmade, that made it
very luxurious. This open hood sports car is a perfect blend of perfect craftsmanship
and Italian design. The car was exhibited as a luxury sports car at the
Frankfurt Motor show in the year 2011.
This is one of sports car that have been made by Maseratti. Inside the
engine, Maseratti really make this sports car for high running speed. The
GranCabrio is powered by an eight-cylinder engine, which have output 446
HP and has a torque of 490 Nm. The timing is activated by two overhead
camshafts per bank coupled with four valves per cylinder, which are controlled
by advanced hydraulic tappets. This ensures super accelerations and turns even
at high speeds. This is such a thirsty fuel engine that will satisfy the
speed experience of driver.
The transmission also made for high speed. The 7 speed ZF automatic
transmission ensures fluid gear shifts which gives excellent acceleration and
top speeds. The top speed of the vehicle is 283 kph. The sports car enthusiasts
will not be disappointed with the sound of engine. The “Sports button” releases
the pneumatic valves systems to 3000 RPM and you'll be ready to roar on the
road.
The GranCabrio can be characterized by its soft-top roof. When closed,
GranCabrio gets the dashing looks of a coupe. When open, the Maserati
GranCabrio becomes an amazing cabriolet. The Maserati GranCabrio also comes
fitted with the Skyhook suspension technology(that detects acceleration via
sensors in all four wheels), which is electronically advanced controlled. This
system continually adjusts the damping, so the car can effectively adapt to
your driving style and road conditions.
The handling is controlled by Maserati’s proprietary advanced MSP
technology (Maserati Stability Program), which comes equipped with ABS and EBD
as standard. It also will provide with GPS navigation sattelite technology,
front pedestrian detecting camera, rain sensor, adaptive front lamp, cool
box, front steel bumper, adaptive mirror, steering safety
