We always dream about the advanced technology
robot that can help our lives. Robots can be very useful for human lives. We
want robots to cook our dinner, wash the dishes, tidy our room, do our homework,
clean our house, and others. In other word, we need robots that could fix our daily problems and make our lives better.
Today, in this century, robots already do a lot of
the jobs that humans don't want to do, can't do, or simply can't do as well as robotics do. In factories around the world, bodied robot arms can
create very small processors, assemble cars, help to making food products, make
delicately place chocolates into their boxes, and do all sorts of jobs that need
faster action and accurate precision. There are even a handful of robots on the
market whose job is to wash the dishes or to clean the floor.
For all of this reasons, engineers decided to
make the robots that have human form, so it can be move like a human and simply doing human
jobs. Today, there are many robots around the world that have been created in
human form and presented to help human lives easier. Some of them have amazing
advances in their technology. But, as we know, the most advanced human form robotic today is
ASIMO.

The Honda Motor Company developed ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in
Innovative Mobility is the most advanced humanoid robot in
the world. Honda engineers have been busy creating the ASIMO robot
for more than 20 years. According to the ASIMO Web site, ASIMO is the first humanoid robot in the
world that can walk independently and climb stairs.
In addition to ASIMO's ability to walk like we do, it can also understand preprogrammed
gestures and spoken commands, recognize voices and faces and interface with advanced IC Communication cards. ASIMO has arms and
hands so it can do things like turn on light switches, open doors, carry
objects, push carts, and many other things that human do.
Honda want to
create a robot that would be a helper for people, which means that a robot to help around the
house, help the elderly, or help someone confined to a wheelchair or bed. ASIMO
is only 4 feet 3 inches high, which is just the right height to look
eye to eye with someone seated in a chair. This allows ASIMO to do the jobs it
was created to do without being too big and using much space.

Honda engineers created ASIMO also will make next technology improvement that make ASIMO could do jobs that are too dangerous for humans
to do, like going into hazardous areas, disarming bombs, or fighting fires. ASIMO equipped with 34 Degrees of Freedom
that help it walk and perform tasks much like a human, such to move right and left, or jump up and down. These degrees of freedom act
much like human joints for optimum movement and flexibility. Lightweight
materials, like a magnesium alloy structure, combined with powerful computers
and 34 servo motors throughout its body help ASIMO move smoothly with ease.
Perfectly humanoid robot.
