The sports cars Ferrari 599XX uses some technology developed from the Enzo Ferrari series, and
combines it with some new technology developments from Ferrari and its exotic
cars parts suppliers. This sports cars will continue to be improved with the
Evolution kit, which will adjust specifics to create more power,
quicker gear changes, and to increase the car's aerodynamic.
The advanced V12 engine will generate 880 hp at 9500 rpm which giving top speed at 410 km/h (249 mph) and 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The advanced gearbox systems will shorten the shift time to 60 milliseconds per shift. This sports car will also have aerodynamic changes and improvements to the traction control system from the last Enzo series.

An evolution of the Enzo series, in fact, the 599XX shares some components with the
enzo series car, but numerous, significant developments are unique to the 599FXX
sports car. The gearbox incorporates the latest advanced developments from
Ferrari's F1 program and has a shift time of under 100 ms. The brake pads
were also upgraded from the Enzo. The tires are custom developed with 19 inch slicks which will increase the stability control.
The 599XX features comprehensive data-monitoring and telemetry that not only
allows the driver to improve performance, but also provides Ferrari technicians
with valuable data to improve the 599XX and future road-going Ferraris. The
599XX sports car is an advanced technology car designed for track use only and
is not street legal, based on 599 enzo ferrari GTB. Weight is reduced by cutting the weight of the engine unit
components, and use of composites and carbon-fiber body parts, carbon-fiber
brake pads. A new gearbox shift strategy is introduced to cut overall gear
change time to 60 ms. Aerodynamics were retuned to give more downforce
(280 kg (617 lb) at 200 km/h, 630 kg (1,389 lb) at
300 km/h). Statistically, this is Ferrari's fastest car in 2012.
